A Collaborative Movement Workshop
All levels · For art lovers, movers, dancers, and actors
Inspired by Electra Gallery’s artists, this all-levels workshop explores how a piece of art can enter our inner landscape, inviting us to transform the way we experience ourselves and interact with our environment.
The workshop will begin with a guided movement warm-up to awaken and embody the impulses that shape our creative response - thinking, feeling, and moving. We will then interact with artworks on display at the Electra Gallery, exploring how they move us - both inwardly and outwardly. The workshop will conclude in a group, weaving our individual experiences together into a shared movement phrase.
No dance or acting experience is necessary, only curiosity and a willingness to notice, explore, and connect.
Tennis shoes (or similar) and clothes that are comfortable for movement are recommended.
