Learn the names and healing properties of New Mexico wildflowers while painting them! This workshop will introduce still-life and botanical painting skills, how to layer colors for richness and depth, and how to mix and color match. We’ll use watercolor as a drawing and painting tool to observe the world around us, and create beautiful portraits of nature together, step by step!

All skill levels welcome, materials provided, and each painter takes home a bouquet of NM wildflowers!

Georgia Carbone is a Santa Fe based artist who works between sacred, contemporary and eco-art techniques and practices. She completed a Master's in Fine Art from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. Her work specializes in the healing power of art and creativity. When she's not in the studio, she's connecting with the Earth at Earth School New Mexico (on instagram as @earth_school_new_mexico) where she stewards the land and honors the gifts of nature by harvesting them for foods and medicines. Georgia learned herbalism from her parents who raised her with natural medicines and a holistic vegetarian lifestyle. She is the owner of ELECTR∆ Gallery.
