Join us at Electra Gallery for an evening with of multimedia story-telling on the mysticism of the 60's. In 1960, Michael W. Barnard was an art student at Oakland California's College of Arts & Crafts. He was in a band, LSD was everywhere, Janis Joplin was hanging around. And then one night he was dragged to see an Indian "Guru"... and his life was changed forever. Tales of magic and synchronicity, first-hand accounts of pivotal counter-culture moments like the "Human BE-IN", and encounters with rogue CIA agents looking for love in all the wrong places.
Storytelling will be accompanied by projections.
Saturday, August 29th, 7 - 10pm
Doors at 6:30pm
