Laura Tempest Zakroff is a professional artist, author, teacher, and performer currently based in New England. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, and her work has received awards and honors worldwide. Her multiple disciplines of visual art, writing, and dance combine to create a path that explores the seen and unseen worlds. Through Llewellyn (the world's oldest and largest independent publisher of books for body, mind, and spirit), Laura has published 8 nonfiction books as well as 4 illustrated decks since 2017. She has edited 3 anthologies on social justice and magic for Revelore Press. Laura is the creative force behind several regional community events and teaches workshops online and worldwide.
